Sound Embroidery

Broderies Sonores

2015

Sound Embroidery is a sound installation where speakers have been made using embroidery techniques. The magnet balls move freely to create sound but also making it visually perceptible to us. Each of the 3 embroidered speakers diffuse a sound. One diffuses the vibration of the near by visitors footsteps, another the vibration of the cars and traffic outside the building and the last speaker plays pre-recorded field recordings taken in the building.

Materials : Copper, cotton, silk, magnet, amplifier.

Disastrous Dinner

2014

[EN]
Dinner  parties are prone to protocol. What fork goes where, which glass is for  wine and which one is for water? What is the order of things?
The  interactive knitted table cloth with twisted ouija board characteristics  creates a disastrous dinner. When you collaborate with your fellow dinner guests, etiquette rules are broken, dishes arrive burnt on the table, bits of food start frothing and lots more..[FR]
